Supplier Code of Conduct
At Bondi Resortwear, we are committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards and expectations for all our suppliers, including Fifty One Pty Ltd (Swank Resort, INOA, Bondi) and their subcontractors or business partners involved in supplying resortwear to Bondi Resortwear.
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Suppliers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations relating to:
- Labour and employment
- Health and safety
- Environment
- Anti-corruption and anti-bribery
2. Ethical Business Practices
Suppliers are expected to maintain:
- Integrity, honesty, and fairness in all business activities
- Transparent dealings, avoiding all forms of corruption, bribery, or fraud
- Professional conduct to avoid bringing Bondi Resortwear or themselves into disrepute
Suppliers must not offer, give, solicit, or accept any form of bribe, kickback, or improper advantage in their business dealings.
3. Fair Labour and Human Rights
Suppliers shall:
- Provide safe and fair working conditions
- Prohibit all forms of child labour, forced or bonded labour, and exploitation
- Ensure working hours, wages, and benefits comply with legal requirements and industry standards
- Promote equal opportunity, diversity, and a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, or abuse
4. Health, Safety, and Wellbeing
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy work environment by:
- Identifying and managing workplace health and safety risks effectively
- Taking proactive action to prevent accidents, injuries, and illnesses
5. Environmental Responsibility
Suppliers must:
- Minimise environmental impacts and comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations
- Implement policies to manage and reduce their environmental footprint, including waste, emissions, water, and energy use
6. Supply Chain Management
Suppliers are expected to:
- Flow down the elements of this Code to their subcontractors and supply chain
- Disclose the use of any subcontractors or homeworkers, and ensure all parties meet these standards
- Obtain Bondi Resortwear's written consent before subcontracting any significant part of their obligations
7. Management Systems
Suppliers must have systems in place to:
- Communicate this Code internally and to relevant supply chain partners
- Maintain accurate records demonstrating compliance
- Respond openly and honestly to requests for information or audits
- Notify Bondi Resortwear of non-compliance and agree to corrective actions if required
8. Conflicts of Interest
Suppliers must avoid situations where personal or business interests conflict with those of Bondi Resortwear and must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
Suppliers must protect confidential, private, and commercially sensitive information entrusted to them and not misuse it for personal or commercial gain.
10. Monitoring, Reporting, and Remediation
Bondi Resortwear reserves the right to audit supplier practices and review compliance.
- Any actual or suspected breaches of this Code must be promptly reported to Bondi Resortwear.
- In case of non-compliance, Bondi Resortwear may require the supplier to implement a corrective action plan, or may suspend or terminate the business relationship in cases of serious or persistent breaches
